Saxon Switzerland (“Sächsische Schweiz”) is a marvelous hiking area not far away from Leipzig. Particularly in autumn when the leaves transform into vibrant colors, it is worth taking a trip through this natural wonder. Registration via e-mail from 14 October, 2023. Deadline: 23 October, 2023.

Have you ever wondered what’s inside those kohlrabi-shaped halls in Southwestern Leipzig? Well, in the former ‘Großmarkthallen’ (wholesale market), you can now go ice skating! Ice skates are available for rent for a fee. Registration via e-mail from 18 December, 2023. Deadline: 8 January, 2024.

08.02.2024 Gewandhaus, “Großes Concert”
This time, we will be celebrating the conclusion of the semester program at the Gewandhaus. The Gewandhaus orchestra, which has a rich tradition, will be performing works by Richard Wagner, who, by the way, was born in Leipzig, and Richard Strauss.
