Our unique offer for student parents and their children: StuFaz is a place to study, play, relax, get in touch and get informed.
For winter semester our new Student Family Center “StuFaz” is opening its doors. The StuFaz is a meeting place, a place for counselling and events as well as point of contact and a networking place for students with children. Everything that is important for (future) student parents is offered under a single roof.
The open rooms invite you to linger between lectures and seminars, to take a nap for the little ones and to meet and network with other student parents. There are comfortable seating areas, two cribs, a diaper changing table and places to work while the children are playing or sleeping.Weekly counselling offers and various information events help, for example, with legal and organisational questions and challenges in everyday life.There is also a regular toddler group and a relaxation course for student parents (registration is still possible) where the children are welcome as well.
While the new facility does not offer childcare, all offers are designed in a way that allows you to bring your children along with you.
The space and the services are open to all (future) student parents of the eight Leipzig universities assigned to the Studentenwerk Leipzig. Especially to those students whose children are not yet in childcare.
