Spice Cooking Course for Our Mensa Staff

A day full of culinary inspiration: The managers, chefs, assistant chefs and serving staff of the Studentenwerk Leipzig’s Mensas and Cafeterias immersed themselves in the world of spices. In an intensive workshop at the Cafeteria am Elsterbecken, everything revolved around new taste experiences and creative recipe ideas.

Both sweet and savory creations were on the agenda: from nutritious breakfast smoothies and energy-packed energy balls to diverse bowls, participants expanded their repertoire and deepened their knowledge. The Studentenwerk Leipzig regularly offers such cooking workshops to further develop the offerings in the Mensas and present students with new culinary highlights.

The skills refined and newly acquired in the workshop will now be put to use in the daily work of the Mensa staff.
