After being closed for several years, the Bistro Mensa am Park will reopen on September 16, 2024. As Cafeteria Mensa am Park will close temporarily at the same time, students can now get coffee and snacks there.
A large selection of freshly prepared sandwiches and a wide range of cake specialties are on offer. Students can also enjoy coffee and coffee specialties and fair trade confectionery bars. If you want to refresh yourself, you will find various non-alcoholic drinks on site.
The bistro is taking a new, more sustainable approach to hot drinks: either Relevo‘s reusable cups or cups you have brought yourself can be used for filling. There will be no ceramic cups, as these regularly disappear in large quantities and have to be repurchased. This contradicts the sustainability principles of Studentenwerk Leipzig’s cafeterias and canteens.
