Rent increase in Student Halls of Residence lower than expected

Starting this month, tenants in our Student Halls of Residence will have to pay additional 10 euros of rent instead of the previously planned 35 euros.

The rent adjustment in our Student Halls of Residence will in a first step be lower than previously announced. Instead of 35 euros per place and month, rent has been raised by only 10 euros since February 1, 2023. The reason for this smaller increase is the Energiepreisbremse – a law that regulates the energy price – which has been passed by the Federal Government. 

Still excluded from the Energiepreisbremse is the planned rent increase as a second step by an average of 30 euros per place and month on June 1, 2023. (Our tenants have already been informed about that.)
