How to take part in the competition
- Get our app. You can find out how to do this in the instructions.
- Fill out the entry form in the app.
- That’s it! Now just keep your fingers crossed.
Note: All students who are enrolled at a university for which Studentenwerk Leipzig is responsible in the winter semester 2024/25 can take part in the competition.
The competition ends on 17.11.2024, 23:59 and is not connected to Instagram. The winners will be notified by email.

Participation regulations
- Participation in the competition is possible by fulfilling the following conditions. Participation in the competition is free of charge and only possible under the conditions listed here. By participating, participants expressly accept these conditions of participation.
- All students who are enrolled at a university for which Studentenwerk Leipzig is responsible in the winter semester 2024/25 can take part in the competition.
- Employees of Studentenwerk Leipzig are excluded from participating in the competition.
- The winners will be informed by Studentenwerk Leipzig by e-mail shortly after the draw. The winners will be contacted by e-mail within 14 days (from notification of the prize). If they do not confirm acceptance of the prize within this period, their claim to the prize will be forfeited without replacement. A replacement winner will then be chosen using the same procedure. There is no obligation to accept the prize. The winners will then send us a copy of their student ID by email. The original student ID must be presented when collecting the prize. It is not possible to send the prizes.
- The winners will need a student ID card or a Mensa card to which the Mensa voucher amount can be loaded. The prize cannot be exchanged or paid out in cash. The credit on the student ID card or canteen card cannot be paid out and cannot be transferred.
- Multiple participation is not possible.
- The winners will be determined at random after the end of the implementation period. Participation in the prize draw is subject to the above conditions.
- Legal recourse is excluded.
- Studentenwerk Leipzig explicitly reserves the right to terminate the competition at any time.
- Period of the competition: The promotion starts after publication of the competition post on November 11 and runs up to and including November 17 (11:59 pm)

We collect the following personal data as part of the competition First name, surname, email address, as well as proof of student status (copy of student ID if you win). - Recipients of the data
The data will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so. - Duration of storage
The personal data collected will only be stored for as long as is necessary to carry out the competition and then deleted, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary. - Rights of the data subjects
You have the right at any time to request information about the personal data stored (Art. 15 DSGVO), to have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 DSGVO), to request the deletion of data (Art. 17 DSGVO), to request the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to object to data processing (Art. 21 DSGVO) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO). You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. - Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
