How does the atmosphere change when summer slowly gives way to autumn? The new photo exhibition at Studentenwerk Leipzig captures this transition in atmospheric analogue images.
The photographs were taken by Giovanna Wallstein, a student of special needs education at Leipzig University. With her analogue camera, she has captured moments between light and shadow – from carefree summer days to the darker, more reflective hours of autumn. Her pictures show both spontaneous street scenes and personal encounters that make the changing seasons tangible.
The exhibition will be on display in the corridors of Studentenwerk Leipzig (Goethestraße 6) until the end of May 2025.
Fancy your own photo exhibition?
Students who would like to present their photographs in an exhibition can apply to Studentenwerk Leipzig. The theme can be freely chosen. 24 frames of 59.4 x 84 cm can be used. The exhibition spaces are located in the corridors on the first and second floors of Goethestraße 6, and the photographs are usually shown for two months.
The exhibitions are financed by Cultural Funding from the Studentenwerk.
It is important that the student photographers are enrolled at a university in the Studentenwerk Leipzig’s area of responsibility during the exhibition period.
