From 1 December 2021, we will be offering Christmas dishes in our Mensas. With this campaign we would like to thank everyone who visits our facilities despite all the restrictions of the pandemic.
Together we have experienced some ups and downs again this year: We had to readjust the hygiene rules in our Mensas and Cafeterias with every Corona regulation of the state and the federal government and always think economically with every change. Thus, we have completely switched to cashless payment, reduced the number of seats in our Mensas and, in some cases, had to shorten the opening hours. We have demanded a lot from our guests. The Christmas weeks are therefore a big thank you to everyone who has remained loyal to our Mensas and Cafeterias over the past year!
A selection of festive dishes
On 7 December, for example, the Mensa am Park will be serving venison goulash with pears and mulled wine, and on 8 December the Mensa am Medizincampus will be serving roast duck breast with baked apple and red cabbage. For those who prefer something less classic: on Wednesday, 1 December, the Mensa Schönauer Straße will be serving Camembert donuts with orange cranberry sauce and potato croquettes. On 8 December, the Mensa Tierklinik will be serving a vegetarian Christmas meal of seitan in the style of sauerbraten with baked apple and red cabbage and Thuringian dumplings. And on 8 December, the Mensa am Elsterbecken will be serving a chestnut roast in orange-blue cabbage with cranberry sauce and sweet potato fries.
All Christmas dishes can be found in the menu.
Of course, our protective measures and hygiene rules apply in all facilities.
