4 May: Studentenwerk Leipzig at University Information Day of Leipzig University

Studentenwerk Leipzig will be at the University Information Day of Leipzig University on 4 May. Learn more about student housing, BAföG and visit our student halls of residence.

If you consider studying at Leipzig University, you should attend University Open Day of Leipzig University on 4 May 2019. At the event you do not only receive information about study programs and their application processes; we will also be there to inform you about BAföG, student halls of residence and all our other services at our info booth and in presentations.

In order to get an idea of what living in our student halls of residence is like, we offer tours in one of our residences. Between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. every half and full hour a tour starts at student residence Straße des 18. Oktober 23-33. Meeting point is house 23. The student residence can easily be reached by Tram 16 (direction: Lößnig). From the Augustusplatz stop take the Tram to Johannisalle; then continue by foot to the first side street on the right and follow it to the back entrance of the student hall. Those arriving by car will easily find parking space along our halls on Straße des 18. Oktober.

Presentations:

• 11.00 – 11.30 a.m.: Study financing according to BAföG (German) // Lecture hall building, HS 10, 2nd floor
• 12.30 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.: Information for parents about studying at Leipzig University (German) // Lecture hall building, HS 8. 2nd floor

Student hall of residence guided tour:

• 10 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.: Guided tours at student hall of residence Straße des 18. Oktober 23-33 start every half and full hour // Meeting point is house 23
  (last tour starts at 2.00 p.m.)

Food & Drinks:

• 10.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.: Cafeteria Mensa am Park
• 11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.: Student restaurant Mensa am Park
