Student cultural project supported by Studentenwerk Leipzig’s cultural funding.
Leipzig students have come together with students from other universities in Thuringia and Saxony to celebrate the Central German musical tradition of the Baroque period under the music project ‘O Ewigkeit, du Donnerwort’.
Their passion for Baroque music will be presented to the audience as a musical journey into the Baroque era. The thematic focus is on the music and work of Sebastian Bach in Leipzig. The concert programme therefore includes his most famous motet ‘Unser Leben ist ein Schatten’ as well as ‘O Ewigkeit, du Donnerwort’ and other works.
Admission is free.
