Who are we responsible for?
The Department for Grants in Leipzig is responsible for students of the following Leipzig institutes:
- Leipzig University (indluding Studiencolleg)
- Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK)
- University of Music and Theatre „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ Leipzig (HMT)
- Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB)
- HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management
- Lancaster University Leipzig
Other responsibilities
The different locations of the iba are not independent and are bound to the supervision of The Hessen State Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts (HMWK). Students of this university are not able to receive support through BAföG.
Please note that there are certain BAföG specifics to consider for students enrolled at Berufsakademie Sachsen.
