Details on the workshop

The experience-oriented workshop will at first deal with the relation to our thoughts. With the help of group exercises the awareness of thoughts will be supported. Furthermore a healthy distance to our own thoughts as well as a helpful and functional way of dealing with them will be practised.

Afterwards our orientation towards the Here and Now will be strenghened and generalised self-attributions will be questioned. This can help us to fight the "autopilot" in everyday life and enables us more psychic flexbility. Thus we can face challenging and stressful situations more calmly and less self-critically.

Eventually a supported reflection of the own value in order to align our deeds more often according to this value will be made together. The contents of the workshop are based mainly on the techniques of the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (by Hayes).
