Workshop: Being a parent with mindfulness & self-compassion

The Social Counselling service is currently offering a MCP online course.

Mindful Compassionate Parenting is a health insurance-certified mindfulness and self-compassion training especially for parents. It aims at learning strategies to cope with stress in the daily family life more effectively as well as caring for oneself more attentively. 

Contents and goals of the MCP course: 

  • Development of self-care, self-acceptance, self-compassion while being a parent
  • Improvement of self-regulation when dealing with hard feelings and thoughts
  • Presence and bonding in the daily family life
  • Recogninzing and counsciously dealing with internalized patterns and old schemata in the education
  • Dealing with conflicts constructively and fixing damages in the relationship 
  • Love and limits in the daily family life 
  • Improving compatibility of studies and family 

Dates and participation: 

  • Weekly appointments every Wednesday from 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
  • Dates: April 19 / April 26 / May 3 / May 10 / May 17 / May 24 / May 31 / June 7 / June 14 / June 21
  • max. 12 participants
