Kunstverein gegenwart e.V. invites you to the release party of the second issue of the art magazine wegen:art. The second issue is dedicated to the topic of ‘collecting’. Collecting is much more than the accumulation of objects – it is passion, reminiscence, cultural practice…
We are looking forward to celebrating the release of the magazine on 12.12.24 from 7pm at Garage Ost. In addition to the opportunity to view the new issue and purchase it for a donation, guests can expect an extensive programme with workshop, reading and music.
The magazine series was founded in 2023 with the theme Great Emotions. It views itself as a platform for new and contemporary voices in art. The magazine aims to offer low-threshold access to current artistic positions from and around Leipzig. In addition to photographs and visual art works, literary texts, essays and other printable works are also included.
